Death Note, Vol. 7: Zero (Death Note #7), Tsugumi Ohba & Takeshi Obata

cover

This volume continues from the previous volume – Death Note, Vol. 6: Give-and-Take (Death Note #6) where L, Light and the task force are pursuing the newest Kira and the newest Kira slowly reveals to them on how the killing works.

As this is part of Light's plan before the confinement, Light regains his Death Note and his memories and satisfied with how his plans come to this far. He even enjoys the manipulation of both humans and Shinigami which lead him to be the biggest winner in the end. However, the victory does not last long when a new threat appears which come from two different directions.

The biggest shocking plot twist I've ever read so far in this story. A couple of new characters introduced in this volume. I can't wait to see what happens next especially the new characters seem interesting.
