The previous volume – Death Note, Vol. 3: Hard Run (Death Note #3), Tsugumi Ohba & Takeshi Obata ends with the existence of another Kira which the identity has been revealed in this volume. The main focus in this volume reveals who is the second Kira and how the second Kira will meet Light to work together to kill L.
Two Kiras' real identity are still unknown yet. L asks Light to join task force and pose as the real Kira in order to catch the fake Kira. This will be a great opportunity for Light to know more inside information on the investigation and at the same time, he needs to uncover information of the fake Kira before the investigation team. L still suspects Light and figures that this is the best way to get closer to reveal whether Light is the real Kira. However, when the fake Kira takes the initiative to confess to Light, the confession is totally out of his expectation. How Light handles such a complicated situation where he needs to protect the fake Kira from being captured by the police and also protecting himself from L as well?
I feel like a teenager who has strong admiration to pop idols or boybands. When I was reading this volume, I feel like a teenager who falls in love and has strong admiration to L. He is genius, adorable, and strangely funny. He seems can read Light's mind and know what will be his next step. There were a few parts from this volume which makes me feel that he is adorable, such as, the way he holds the photo and says "Hair". When he claims that he is a huge fan of the teenage model, I just felt that scene is funny.
