There are several short scary stories in this book. The illustrations are quite good and indeed, it does look scary to the readers. As for the stories, I personally feel the stories are more to funny than scary. It's really amusing. Although it's not as scary as what I assumed before I read the book but I still like the book. It's good for casual reading and I enjoyed it but I guess if I read this book when I was a kid, I will get scared too.
