The direction of Tootsuki Academy has changed since the return of Azami (Vol. 16). With the help of Alice and Hisato, Erina is able to run away from her house and Polar Star Dorm welcomes her with open arms. In the meantime, Azami starts to execute his new ideas in the academy and one of them is to dissolve all the cooking lessons, seminars, research societies, associations and all other kinds of self-governed bodies which currently existing in the academy.
Shokugeki is no longer meaningful as the judges receive bribe from the members of central. However, Soma still insists to challenge Etsuya Eizan in order to protect Polar Star Dorm from being shut down. Will Soma able to defeat the 9th seat Central and protects his dorm?
Sometimes, I will think how many people in this world have such a strong determination like Soma. He has so much passion in his cooking and he never gives up and dare to face unlimited failures. How I wish most of us have that kind of courage in ourselves.
