Once, there was a china rabbit named Edward Tulane who was loved by a little girl. The rabbit went on an ocean journey and fell overboard. He was rescued by a fisherman but later buried under rubbish. He was unburied by a dog and traveled for a long time with the tramps but later worked as a scarecrow. He was saved by a poor boy and loved by a little sick girl but later watched her die. The rabbit danced on the streets of Memphis but his head was broken into pieces in a diner. Will that be the ending for Edward?
Along his extraordinary journey, he learns to love, to lose, and to love again. And throughout the journey with him, we learn to believe that miracle happens and have faith in love.

When was the last time I felt so touched when reading a book? This is an exceptionally beautiful story. The character was so lively. I was so into the story and there was a moment where I thought that I was traveling with Edward. The story was beautifully written and it was a roller coaster of emotions when reading the book. It was a good representation of our life so well. We always need to keep going through the phases of being hopeful and later experience the heartbreaking but if we give up and close our heart, we will never find the true love.
“There’s no point in going on if you feel that way. No point at all. You must be filled with expectancy. You must be awash in hope. You must wonder who will love you, whom you will love next.” “I am done with being loved,” Edward told her. “I’m done with loving. It’s too painful.” “Pish,” said the old doll. “Where is your courage?” “Somewhere else, I guess,” said Edward. “You disappoint me,” she said. “You disappoint me greatly. If you have no intention of loving or being loved, then the whole journey is pointless. You might as well leap from this shelf right now and let yourself shatter into a million pieces. Get it over with. Get it all over with now.”
